Going to church didn't solve this problem

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a call from a man on Marina Court in the Bigfork area who said that his angry wife was kicking his vehicle and threatening him. It turned out that the woman thought her husband was texting another woman while they were in church.

Also on Sunday in Bigfork, there was a call regarding an unwanted relative refusing to leave a home on Williams Lane. The man was advised to gather his belongings and to quit causing a disturbance or he would be charged with disorderly conduct.

There was a report from the jail regarding two inmates that got into a scuffle, but no medical response was necessary.

There was a report of someone driving away from a Montana 35 store without paying for $60 in gasoline.

A woman called from Pleasant Lane to report that a teenager on a four wheeler keeps driving down  the reporting party’s private road, and the girl made an obscene gesture when she was asked to stay off the road.

There was a report of a house on Poplar Lane that had a smashed-in front door and damage on the inside.

A man calling from East Reserve Drive reported that a relative is refusing to cooperate with him so he can remove his vehicle from her property.

A woman called from Mountain Drive to report that her intoxicated son was causing a disturbance after his truck got stuck in the front yard.

Early Monday, at about 4 a.m., a woman called from First Avenue Northwest in Hungry Horse to report that a man pointed a gun at her. Another reporting party said there was an argument between two people, and the man with the gun fired a shot into the air. The group was apparently separated.


An employee at a casino on U.S. 93 South called Kalispell Police Sunday to report that an unwanted man was refusing to leave after being asked to do so. The man was apparently bringing his own alcohol into the business and harassing customers.

A juvenile male called the Child Abuse Hotline to report that he was barricaded in his room at a home on Seventh Avenue West after he was kicked and punched by his dad. Officersresident  reported no evidence or sign of physical abuse.

There was a report of a man in a sleeping bag on a tennis court near Hawthorn Avenue.

A woman calling from a parking lot on U.S. 2 West reported that her ex blocked her vehicle in with his truck, preventing her from leaving.

An Airport Road resident reported that a boy who lives next door keeps putting things like worms and dog poop on the reporting party’s door.

A woman calling from Greatview Drive said that Valium pills had been stolen from her home.

There was a report of a home being broken into on Caroline Road.

After getting a call about a woman fighting with her daughters at a home on Fourth Avenue West, officers arrested the woman for partner-family member assault.

 An officer assisted a man who was found sleeping outside of an apartment complex on Airport Road.

Monday, a pharmacist calling from Second Avenue West reported being in contact with a woman who has been going to multiple doctors to get subscriptions for a controlled substance.

The manager of a casino on North Main Street reported receiving counterfeit money from some customers over the weekend.

There was a report of someone making an unsuccessful attempt to break into a building on South Main Street.

There was a report of an elderly woman driving past a street closed sign and around traffic cones before became high-centered and stuck in the area of Third Avenue East and 21st Street East.
