Storm-water project begins on Monday

The Fourth Avenue East and Ninth Street East Storm Water System Improvement Project will begin Monday, Aug. 4, and is scheduled to last approximately 30 days. 

Work zones closed to through traffic include portions of Fourth Avenue East from Eighth Street East to 10th Street East (closed from Aug. 4 to Sept. 3) and Ninth Street East from Fourth Avenue East to Sixth Avenue East (closed from Aug. 11, to Sept. 3).

Local access to residents will be preserved during construction. Commuter and nonessential traffic is asked to take alternate detour routes around the work zone. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to proceed with caution and to comply with all warning signs and traffic control devices.
