Kalispell sewer work underway

Starting today, the city of Kalispell has contracted with LHC to replace sewer lines along the alley between East Washington and East Nevada streets.

The project will require the removal and replacement of existing asphalt and sewer main along the alley between these two streets. Construction equipment will be working between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.

LHC does not anticipate any sewer service interruption. However, should a temporary sewer interruption be required, local residents will be notified. This project is expected to last through September.

During the sewer replacement there will be no access to the block of the alley where active construction is taking place. Residents should anticipate street and alley closures.

Call the Kalispell Solid Waste foreman at 249-2670, or contact Judy Mundell at 758-6438 or Rebekah Wargo at 758-7720.
