The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a call Monday from a man on First Street Southeast in Hungry Horse who said he lent a vehicle to his mother-in-law a couple of months ago and now she is refusing to give it back.
A man calling from Bench Drive reported that a Ruger .45 caliber handgun was stolen from his truck.
A person calling from Angel Point Road near Lakeside reported that someone had been shooting guns in the neighborhood, and the caller believed that seagulls were being shot because there were several dead birds floating on the water.
A woman calling from Lenwood Lane reported that her husband attacked her, slamming her against a wall and choking her after he came to pick up their kids.
A man calling from Trumble Creek Road reported that his ex-girlfriend stole his credit cards and retirement information. He said she has been using three of the credit cards.

Kalispell Police got a report Monday about people being “drunk and loud and fighting” at a location on Fifth Avenue West. The call resulted in a man being cited with obstructing a police officer, and being warned that he will be cited for trespass if he returns to the same location.
A woman calling from Ponderosa Street requested help with her 36-year-old daughter who was intoxicated and out of control.
A Third Avenue East resident reported that her roommate stole some Internet equipment.
A woman reported that she lost her purse and her smart phone in Whitefish, and she has since determined that her phone somehow got to Kalispell.
There was a report of a vehicle being broken into on Second Avenue East North, with a wallet, credit cards and a backpack being stolen.

A frustrated driver called Whitefish Police Monday to complain about westbound traffic on U.S. 93 being backed up in town because of construction. The caller said traffic hadn’t moved for 30 minutes.
A person calling from a Wisconsin Avenue business said that several “floaties” had been popped, a fence was damaged and a bike was stolen but recovered in a nearby yard after a rash of criminal mischief.

Columbia Falls Police got a call Monday from a man on Eighth Street West who said his vehicle had been stolen overnight after he had left the keys under the seat and his wallet inside. He soon after called and said that he located the car about three blocks away in a church parking lot and nothing was missing.
