Missing Salish-Kootenai member found

A 55-year-old Salish-Kootenai tribal member that was reported missing Monday has been located. 

Linda Santos Altamarino’s husband called police after noticing that her car, purse and glasses were still at her home and she did not show up for work Monday morning at the tribal complex in Pablo.

Tribal Law and Order, assisted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, did an extensive search on Tuesday. 

On Wednesday morning, she was observed east of Ronan by an individual that knew her. Tribal authorities responded and spoke with Altamarino, who is doing well.
