Man jumps up and gets down on trailer wheel

The Whitefish Police Department received a call from Marina Crest Lane regarding criminal mischief Friday. The caller stated that someone had “jumped up and down on one of the wheels of his cargo trailer” and broke the wheel. The mischievous person also allegedly threw rocks at the trailer.

A man was standing on Central Avenue on Friday shouting at patrons entering businesses telling them, “You are going to hell.” Another person who called to report the man said that he was saying ‘it was his First Amendment rights.”


The Kalispell Police Department was called when a man walked off with $100 worth of groceries on West Idaho Street on Friday.

A woman called from a location near Depot Park to report a man who has been stalking her.

A man caused a disturbance at a business on U.S. 93 South when he was smoking inside, arguing with employees and yelling at customers, “scaring them away.”

A woman called from Third Avenue East North saying that her ex-fiance was repeatedly calling her, telling her that he was “very intoxicated” and had lost his pants and glasses and couldn’t see anything. The woman told police she refused to go looking for him.

A moving vehicle caught fire on Woodland Park Drive on Saturday. Luckily, someone nearby had a fire extinguisher and the fire was put out before officers arrived.
