Home-management expert gives local seminars

 Deniece Schofield, author of five books on home management and organization, will be in Kalispell on Tuesday to present two seminars. 

Schofield will appear from 10 a.m. to noon and 7-9 p.m. at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites in Evergreen. Both seminars are the same. The cost, including handouts, is $25 at the door. No reservations are required. 

In her promotional material, Schofield admits she was once a disorganized person, suffering from a chronic case of cluttered closets and negative attitudes. When wishful thinking didn’t work, she decided to attack the problems directly. In the workshop, Schofield will share what she learned from her experience.

One of Schofield’s books is “Confessions of an Organized Homemaker.”  Publisher’s Weekly said of that book: “The author of this appealing, often amusing book seems to be the most organized person on earth. If readers put to use even a small fraction of her advice, their lives will be, if not happier, at lest less cluttered and harried.”
