Beverly K. Elward, 80

Beverly K. Elward, 80, passed away on Aug. 16, 2014, at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls.

She was born on March 3, 1934, to Florence and Allen Keith McDonald in Havre.

Beverly married her soul mate, Eddie Elward, on Oct. 30, 1971, for the last time anyway!

Even though they moved around to follow work, they kept coming back to Montana. Beverly loved animals, reading, crocheting, fishing, family and the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie; her parents; two sisters; one brother; and other family members.

Beverly is survived by her brother, Bob, and Teresa McDonald, of Libby; her children, Gary and Sue McDonald of Kalispell, Carol Elward of Seeley Lake, and Kelli Parker of Whitefish; and her grandchildren, Kory, Jeremy, Sara, Keith, Shayla, Ashlynn and Shyanne. She also leaves behind her faithful companion, Harley.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Beverly will be laid to rest in Irrigon, Ore., next to her soul mate, Eddie.

Arrangements are entrusted to Columbia Mortuary.
