MILES CITY — A 50-year-old Miles City man has been killed at a train crossing in the city.

Custer County Sheriff Tony Harbaugh tells the Miles City Star that authorities received a call at about 6 a.m. Sunday from someone reporting it appeared there was a body on the railroad tracks.

The coroner declared George Kuper dead at the scene.

Harbaugh says officials are waiting for more autopsy results to determine what happened.
