Don't forget Daines' stand on abortion

Earlier this year on local television, a serious, business-like Rep. Steve Daines voiced his contention that abortion should be against the law, and women who have had abortions should be prosecuted by the legal system.  

I was appalled.

I never saw the same clip of Rep. Daines again. The next time I saw him he sounded less like a member of the Taliban and more like a kindly uncle.

This letter is being written to remind candidate Daines that womens’ bodies are personal and not political territory. —Marcia Thomsen, Bigfork
