Rein in Obama by electing Daines
President Obama has regrettably proven to us time and again that he does not possess the leadership skills necessary to run our country. Whether it’s the IRS targeting political groups, the current situation on the southern border, the debacle in the Middle East, or the EPA destroying businesses and jobs, Obama and his administration clearly are not using the executive agencies responsibly.
All of these problems create a void in leadership. Normally the U.S. Congress could step in to fill that gap, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is so loyal to the president that he seems incapable of making decisions based on logic and reason rather than based on political gamesmanship. Without the U.S. Senate, the House is virtually powerless to solve the problems created by the Obama administration. Naturally, then, we need a change in the leadership of the Senate, and the only way that happens is to tip the balance of power in favor of Republicans.
Here in Montana, that means we need to elect Steve Daines. Winning Montana’s Senate race alone cannot fix the problems caused by Obama, but fixing the problems is nearly impossible without Republican success in Montana. For this reason, you can see it is crucial that voters speak loudly and clearly by electing Steve Daines in November. —Mauri Morin, Ronan
