Snow plowing causes dispute
A Talbot Road resident called the Columbia Falls Police Department to complain about his neighbor plowing his driveway but doing it wrong, proving that no good deed goes unpunished.
A Cedar Street man reported his ex left a message about taking the former couple’s child to the emergency room, but subsequent calls to the hospitals hadn’t turned up any information. The two had long since abandoned the parenting plan so the caller wasn’t even sure where the other parent lived now. Officers contacted the mother, who stated the child had an allergic reaction but everything was OK now.
A drunken man was bothering customers in the parking lot of a Ninth Street West casino until an employee took one for the team and just drove the guy home.
The Whitefish Police Department took a call from an angry RV owner, who kept having his vehicle damaged on O’Brien Avenue. The vehicle was in his yard and had repeatedly had its side-view mirrors ripped off.
A Murray Avenue woman called police to report a man who had bothered her in the past was harassing her and coming to her house. She did not have a restraining order against him, but wanted him kept away from her home.
An Aspen Court dog owner might be in hot water after his German Shepherd chased a man and his children down the street, only stopping when the man kicked the dog.
A man called police after three men assaulted his friend on Central Avenue before leaving the scene. An ambulance was requested for the friend.
The Polson Police Department made an arrest for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol on Montana 35 near Mission Bay at 1:24 a.m.
A Kalispell woman called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report her friend was being held captive in her home by her husband. According to the caller, her friend was kicked very hard by her husband and she was in pain. This was not the first domestic violence issue, the caller said.
A Harmony Road father was attacked by his 14-year old son, and he stopped the fight by knocking his son to the floor and was sitting on him while making the call. The son had been in juvenile detention before for partner-family member assault.
A Cedar Drive resident reported his neighbors had been involved in a dispute the night before where the woman of the house came at the man wielding a knife. He “had to choke out” the female to get her to stop, the caller said.
