Gabrel Jess Johnston, 17

Gabrel Jess Johnston was born April 19, 1997, in Kalispell.

He died at age 17 in a car accident near Somers on Dec. 4, 2014.

Gabe was employed with Lindberg Masonry.

He was preceded in death by his older sister Jessica, and grandfather Paul Johnston.

He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Jeni, of Whitefish; a sister, Jada, and Lane Rosenlund, of Battle Ground, Wash.; two younger brothers, Joses and Kels; grandmother, Joanne Johnston, of Duluth, Minn.; grandparents, Randy and Denise Massie, of New Town, N.D.; a niece, Adaya; nephew, Jepson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Gabe was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Lakeside.
