MISSOULA — Ryder Day (126), Sam Barber (138), Quinn Barber (152) and Isaac Sanez (170) all won by pin while Justin Gibson (113) won by a technical fall to account for all of Glacier’s scoring in a Western AA wrestling dual with Sentinel.

Sentinel won eight matches, including the final four, for a 37-29 victory on Thursday.

Glacier, 0-2 in duals, will compete in the Mining City Duals in Butte today and Saturday.

“I’m really proud of the boys,” Glacier coach Ross Dankers said. “They wrestled really hard against a solid Sentinel team.”

Dankers said Tyler Eierdam was an example of that. Eierdam lost by major decision, 16-2, at 132.

“He fought off his back the entire match and kept it to a major decision,” Dankers said. “He showed we came here to scrap hard, not give up.”
