Bargoers report possible drugging

| December 14, 2014 9:00 PM

Several patrons of a Central Avenue bar in Whitefish called the Whitefish Police Department because they believed they had been drugged by their bartender. Every member of their five-person group passed out in weird places and had no memory of the night, and were unable to provide a description of the bartender. A officer told the caller they could get a urine analysis to see if they had been roofied, but that was declined.

A Talbot Road resident heard teenagers yelling and being noisy in a church field and called the Columbia Falls Police Department because he “was assuming that they were doing a drug deal or something.” They turned out to be members of the church’s congregation doing a group activity.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office took a call at 12:47 a.m. about a partner-family member assault.

The Creston Fire Department took a call about a chimney fire at 7:24 a.m. on Wakewood Drive in Kalispell.

The Kalispell Police Department took a call about a physical disturbance on Shady Lane. A man broke into the caller’s house and punched the woman in the head. The man who assaulted her had been drinking.
