Fullerton-Roberts

Deven Theresa Fullerton and John Stephen Roberts Jr.  were married Sept. 20 at Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier National Park. The ceremony was performed by the Hon. Robert H. Whaley, U.S. District Court judge in Spokane.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Sandy Fullerton of Kalispell.

The bridegroom is the son of J. Stephen and Trish Roberts of Williamsburg, Virginia, and Susan Roberts and John F. Watlington of Richmond, Virginia.

Matron of honor was Alison Castillo of New York, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Elaine Roberts-Kaye of Harrisonburg, Virginia, sister of the groom, and Katie Oyler of Kalispell.

Flower girls were Celeste, Brooke and Audrey Fullerton of Carbondale, Colorado, nieces of the bride.

Best man was Joshua Maurer Woodbridge, Virginia.

Groomsmen were Ian Kaye of Harrisonburg, brother-in-law of the groom, and Rich Prado of Richmond.

Ushers were John Drake and Benjamin Harnett, both of Spokane, and Chris Cusack of Kansas City, Missouri.

The bride graduated from Stillwater Christian School, the University of Montana with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Gonzaga University in Spokane with a master’s degree in community counseling. She works for the Spokane public schools.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in history and government from the College of William and Mary, and a law degree from Gonzaga University. He is a trial attorney for the Federal Defenders of Eastern Washington and Idaho in Spokane. 

The couple reside in Spokane.
