Dispute requires medical support
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic dispute between a couple on Cedar Drive in Kalispell. The woman was hurt and medical support was requested and the man was arrested on suspicion of partner-family member assault.
A witness on Shady Lane claimed to see a group of men take off a car bumper and replace it with one which was full of drugs as a way to smuggle them. The witness said there was a meth lab in one of the rooms.
A woman left a store on U.S. 2 in Kalispell and was driving in the wrong lane of traffic, stopping her vehicle in the center of the road and screaming. She headed back into the store and was yelling a person’s name. A deputy calmed her down and the store manager was fine with her staying and waiting for the person she was looking for as long as she stopped screaming.
A woman on Central Avenue called the Whitefish Police Department to report getting multiple threatening phone calls from her ex-husband, including a threat to slit her throat.
A man in a black Chevy Yukon was shining a laser pointer at fellow motorists going in the opposite direction.
A motorist called police after he observed a fire near Whitefish City Beach. Officers investigating found it was a propane-fueled fire keeping a worksite warm.
A Fourth Street East woman called the Columbia Falls Police Department to report “her neighbor is horrible.” The horrible neighbor had destroyed property and damaged a car port.
A 12th Avenue West resident called police when they saw two men going into an apartment through a window and weren’t sure if they were breaking in. Officers found that the door handle had broken from within so the residents were actually breaking out.
The Big Mountain Fire Department was called at 3:30 a.m. about a motor vehicle fire on Alpine Village Drive.
