Callers report livestock on the loose

The Kalispell Police Department received a call about two cows on the loose on Cemetery Road. Officers were able to locate the owners and get the animals back where they belonged.

Police responded to a report of a man slumped over the wheel of his vehicle in an East Idaho Street parking lot. The man was reportedly just tired and pulled over to take a nap.

A caller reported that his daughter left her purse at the movie theater for awhile and later noticed money missing.

A confused man allegedly assaulted another man at a First Avenue West business. The confused man was taken to the emergency room for a mental health evaluation.

A caller reported a dog tied up and unable to get to shelter in a yard near Airport Road.

A man reportedly called to tell police he was going to hang himself.

A caller claimed he had been harassed and assaulted while waiting at a bus stop. The man asked to know what his options were regarding the alleged attack, and reportedly stated he was thinking of getting a permit to carry a firearm so next time he could shoot the attacker.

Thefts from several vehicles were reported in the Hutton Ranch Road area.

A man called to report that his wallet had been stolen from a business on Woodland Park Drive. He called back later to report it had been returned.

A caller complained about a barking dog on Second Avenue West. It was not the first time the caller had filed a complaint about the noisy animal.

Shoplifting was reported at a Third Avenue East North business.

A woman called police to report her walker had been stolen while she was sitting outside.

A burglar reportedly entered a Fourth Avenue East North car wash through the ceiling and proceeded to take a sledge hammer to the coin machines inside.
