Lovesick pedestrian nearly squished
A concerned motorist stopped to check on a man in dark clothing walking down Conrad Drive who the motorist almost hit and was immediately almost hit by another vehicle. According to the report filed with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, the pedestrian refused an offer of a ride from the motorist, saying he was distraught because his girlfriend had broken up with him and didn’t care if he got hit.
A grumpy grandmother called, wanting to know what kind of calls had been received regarding her U.S. 2 East residence, having heard something about it being burglarized and wanting to know if it was true. A dispatcher told her that wasn’t public information, but she remained adamant that she be told.
A woman accidentally bra-dialed 911 during an argument with a man who said he was going to call police due to another man and woman not returning his prescription. The woman said she did not realize the phone had dialed 911 while it was in her undergarment.
A package delivery man was bitten by a mastiff on River Road, leaving behind a large, painful bruise. The dog’s owner was advised of county animal ordinances and about keeping the dog updated on its rabies vaccine and also told that the courier would no longer deliver to the front door out of fear of the dog.
