'Tour of Learning' planned at Whitefish High on Tuesday

 The Whitefish School District will lead a “Tour of Learning” at the new high school construction project on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m.

People will tour the new facility, interact with teachers, administrators, and trustees, ask questions and learn more about the district’s vision for educational excellence at Whitefish High School.

The tour will focus on several initiatives already underway at the high school, as well as ongoing plans as the school moves into the new facilities.

District leaders will talk about their innovative approaches to teaching and professional development activities to prepare and support teachers.

They also will discuss design of the classrooms — both the physical spaces and the class schedule — and how professional development, new facilities and plans for extended learning times are expected to work in concert with the district’s overall vision.
