Have a 'Terrible' day at Bigfork theater

| February 12, 2014 6:00 PM

Bigfork Community Players present a musical version of the popular children’s book “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.”

The shows runs at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 21, 22, 28 and March 1, and at 2 p.m. on Feb. 23 and March 2 at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts,

Alexander isn't big on kissing, even on television.  But now his used-to-be best friend Paul is singing about kissing, and of all things, a girl. It's going to be a very bad day.

Alexander deals not only with kissing and a fickle best friend, but also lunch without dessert and lima beans for dinner. Young audiences will identify with Alexander’s trials; older audiences will recall them with a chuckle. All will share the relief and joy that accompanies surmounting the obstacles life puts before us.

Tickets for all performances are $5 for children 12 and under; $10 for ages 65-plus and 12-18; and $15 for adults. They are available at the door or in advance at Bigfork Drug and the Kalispell Grand Hotel or online at www.BigforkCommunityPlayers.com.
