Kalispell Regional Healthcare is bringing its fourth annual Heart Health Fair to the Flathead Valley Feb. 20.

The event, which promotes heart health in Northwest Montana, is free.

This year, the Heart Health Fair will give people the option to schedule appointments for cholesterol screenings.

The fair will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. at Flathead Valley Community College’s Arts and Technology building.

To make an appointment for a cholesterol screening and to avoid the lines, go to www.kalispellregional.org and click the Heart Health Fair button. Otherwise, call 751-4500 Monday through Friday between 1 and 4 p.m.

The screenings will also measure lipids, triglycerides, blood glucose and blood pressure.

Several presentations from Kalispell Regional physicians begin at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Robert Mitchell will speak on heart attacks, Dr. Ilyas Colombowala on heart rhythm treatment and Dr. Kurt Lindsay on strokes.

A cooking demonstration and other screenings also will be available.

For more information, call the Heart Health Fair information line at 751-6697.
