Glacier's Loyda, Cirincione in State Swim Meet finals

BUTTE — Glacier’s Joshua Loyda and Jake Cirincione will both swim in two individual finals today and the Wolfpack also qualified for the finals in the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay at the State Swim Meet.

Loyda posted the top time during qualifying on Friday in the 100 backstroke (54.7) and had the second-best time in the 50 freestyle (22.31).

Cirincione had the second-best time in the 100 butterfly (55.03) and the fourth-best clocking in the 200 individual medley (2:10.36).

In the 200 freestyle relay, the Wolfpack had the second-fastest time (1:35.85). In the 200 medley relay, they were sixth (1:50.75).

Swimming concludes today with the finals and consolation finals.

No teams standings were compiled on the first day.

Flathead did not advance a swimmer to today’s finals.
