Dorothy May McConville Junge, 89

Dorothy May McConville Junge, 89, passed away on Feb. 10, 2014, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Whitefish to George and LaVera McConville on May 10, 1924. She was raised and attended school in Whitefish. She married Bob Junge on Feb. 28, 1942. They traveled to different parts of the United States where her husband worked construction. They moved to Pasco, Wash. in 1960, where she lived until moving back to Whitefish, then to Columbia Falls. She has lived there for the past 20 years. She spent the last seven months living with her son Chuck.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Floyd McConville; sister, Marjorie Schooley; first husband, Bob Junge; and second husband, Bob Swinney (daughters Chris and Pat).

She is survived by her son, Charles Junge (Peggy), his children Kellee VonFeldt (Mark), Robbie Junge (Sarah), Chris Junge (Joliene) and her daughter Charlene Rodgers (Gene), their children Rhonda Brooks (Mike), Brian Rodgers (Danielle), eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Dorothy will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17 at Austin Funeral Home. There will be a viewing for Dorothy from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday prior to services. A reception will be held at the Hampton Inn in Kalispell, courtesy of grandson, Chris Junge.

Dorothy will be laid to rest on Feb. 19 at City View Cemetery in Pasco.
