Man falls from roof, spends night outside
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a call Sunday morning regarding a man who fell about 18 feet from a roof on Dillon Road near Whitefish. The man was apparently on the ground all night. He suffered bruising and bleeding on his head, but no broken bones. He was transported by ambulance to North Valley Hospital.
There was a report of a road gate being destroyed on Rifle Range Road south of Whitefish.
There was a report of a man stealing items from a shop on Glades Drive near Whitefish and then getting away on the local snow bus.
A deputy engaged in a pursuit of a vehicle on U.S. 2 east of Kalispell that reached more than 100 mph, but the chase was apparently short because the suspect vehicle was pulled over at Rose Crossing.
A woman called for assistance with her out-of-control teenage son at a Foothill View Lane residence near Bigfork. The boy’s father apparently had to restrain him to prevent him from leaving.
Kalispell Police assisted in a response to a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle on North Main Street and West Idaho Saturday night. The victim, a woman, was conscious after the collision but stated she had pain in her head and shoulders.
Whitefish Police got a report Sunday about a small terrier falling into the basement of a home that is under construction on Portage Way. The dog got out with some help and was taken to the county animal shelter.
A window at an office on Central Avenue was broken, possibly due to criminal mischief.
Columbia Falls Police got a call Sunday from a Ninth Street West resident who said that someone tried to kick in a house door the night before.
An employee at a store on Ninth Street West said she was too frightened to leave because there was an angry man in a vehicle outside. The man eventually left, and so did the employee.
After getting a tip about the location of a woman with county arrest warrants, she was found at Nucleus Avenue location and arrested.
