While car warming up, it gets moved a block

An unhappy car owner on Shady Lane contacted the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to say that, while her vehicle was warming up in the morning, a man working for a company moving a mobile home into a nearby empty lot moved her car about a block down the road. She did not wish to pursue any criminal charges.

A deputy, a Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officer and a helicopter crew from Two Bear Air were unable to locate a paddle boarder reported on Flathead Lake in the area of Woods Bay. The person who called in the paddle boarder did not believe the person was in any danger and said the person was wearing a dry suit.

A pair of motorists reported a confused man in black coveralls walking down Montana 206 asking people for cigarettes and pacing back and forth. A deputy was unable to locate the man.

A man was arrested for assault with a weapon and his wife transported by ambulance to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center after he stabbed her at their Ridgewood Drive home.
