Martha M. Boss, 82

Martha M. Boss, 82, passed away Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen, Ind., where she had been the past eight years.

She was born Sept. 13, 1931, in Kalispell, to Silas and Elma (Sutter) Mast.

She married Paul D. Boss on Aug. 8, 1952, in Creston.

He survives, along with a daughter, Elvira, and Kenny Burke, of Mishawaka, Ind.; a son, Ernest Boss, of South Bend, Ind.; two grandchildren, Kaitlin and Dan Buzalski of Middlebury, Ind., and Adam Boss of Goshen, Ind.; a sister, Naomi Mast, of Montana; and three brothers, Frank and Donna Mast and Myron and Vicky Mast, both of Montana, and Larry and Helen Mast of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Priscilla Buller.

In addition to being a homemaker, she sold Fuller Brush and Creative Circle products for 20 years.

In Kalispell, she was active in the Creston Fireman's Auxiliary and in the sewing circle of the Mountainview Mennonite Church, where she was a member. She enjoyed gardening, both flowers and vegetables, and driving in the mountains. Mrs. Boss was very skilled at needlepoint, embroidery and quilting.

Mrs. Boss, along with her husband, moved to Goshen from Kalispell in 1994 to be closer to family.

Mrs. Boss was a member of Sunnyside Mennonite Church in Elkhart, Ind.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Zehr of Sunnyside Mennonite Church officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Kalispell.
