Columbia Falls man convicted of sex assaults

A Columbia Falls man has pleaded guilty to a pair of felony sexual assault charges after molesting a pair of girls aged 12 and 13 years old.

Adam Netz, 38, entered Alford pleas to the charges, accepting conviction while maintaining his claim that he is innocent.

According to a court document, Netz admitted to a detective that he molested the girls for five months at the end of 2012 into 2013.

Netz now faces between four and 200 years or up to two life terms in prison as well as a fine of up to $100,000 when he is sentenced on March 20.
