Mat Cats 3rd in Class A wrestling poll

Columbia Falls holds the No. 3 spot in the latest Class A coaches’ wrestling poll.

The Mat Cats are one of three teams from Northwestern A to earn a spot in this week’s ranking. Frenchtown is No. 6 while Polson checks in at the No. 9 spot.

Havre and Sidney are ranked 1-2.

Two-time defending state champion Shonn Roberts of Columbia Falls (98 and 1120 remains the top ranked wrestler at 126 pounds. He is the lone Northwestern A grappler to lead a weight class.

Columbia Falls has wrestlers ranked at every weight class except for 106, 132, 170, 182 and 195.

Havre has three individuals listed No. 1 while Sidney has a pair.
