Dale Willis Anderson, 87

Dale Willis Anderson, 87, passed away peacefully on Nov. 26, 2013, in Phoenix.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1926, in Milan, Minn.

He was a Marine and fought in World War II on Iwo Jima.

He married his greatest love and partner, Jean, and they had a beautiful marriage of 66 years together, living in Minnesota, Iran, South Dakota, Montana and Arizona. Dale was a bank president with Wells Fargo in Minnesota and Montana. He was an avid golfer as well as outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and being in nature, loving the mountains, lakes and wildlife.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jean; his daughters, Laurie Anderson, Wendy Anderson and Kris Thomas, and his son, Kurt Anderson, and their spouses; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Dale was a man of profound integrity, dignity and love, and will be greatly missed.
