Basketball roundup: Glacier girls down Missoula Big Sky

MISSOULA — Glacier used a 17-2 run in the second quarter to battle back from a slow start and went on to post a 55-50 Western AA girls basketball victory over Missoula Big Sky on Saturday.

Taylor Loomis, who finished with 10 points, had six points during the Wolfpack run.

Glacier (4-2 overall, 1-1 league) went on top 34-31 to start the second half on a pair of 3s by Hailee Bennett.

Bennett finished with a game-high 19 points.

Dani Baker had 17 points to pace Big Sky (2-5, 1-2).

Jenessa Heine had eight points to pace Flathead.
