Basketball roundup: Bigfork boys beat T-Falls; win streak at 9

BIGFORK — Bigfork held Thompson Falls under 10 points scoring in all four quarters to post a 52-27 District 7B boys basketball win Thursday night.

Second-ranked Bigfork (9-0 overall, 5-0 league) led 25-11 at the half and outscored Thompson Falls 27-16 in the final half.

Josh Sandry topped Bigfork’s offense with 10 points. Nine Vikings figured in the scoring.

Bigfork has a nonconference game on Saturday at Florence.

THOMPSON FALLS — Shey Hannum scored 15 points and Logan Beckman chipped in 12 as Thompson Falls edged Libby in overtime in a back-and-forth nonconference matchup.

Shyla Stevenson tallied 12 points for Libby.

The game ended on a wild note with both teams doing the bulk of their scoring in the fourth quarter.

Libby returns to Northwestern A play on Saturday at Polson.
