Columbia Falls ticket wins $40,000 prize

A Powerball ticket sold at Super 1 Foods in Columbia Falls won a $40,000 prize in Wednesday’s drawing, according to Montana Lottery officials

The winning Powerball numbers were 07, 08, 09, 24, 29 and Powerball 25.

This would mark the third lottery win in the Flathead Valley this month.

On Tuesday, Russell Miller of Kalispell claimed his $1 million prize from the Jan. 1 Montana Millionaire drawing.

He purchased the winning ticket from Mike’s Conoco in Columbia Falls.

In the Jan. 8 lottery drawing, a ticket sold at Super 1 Foods in Kalispell won a $100,000 Montana Cash jackpot. No one has claimed that prize yet.

The winning Montana Cash numbers were 1, 11, 12, 25 and 35.
