Wrestling roundup: Pirates pin Dogs, fall to Mat Cats

POLSON — Polson split Northwestern A dual wrestling action on Thursday.

The Pirates, ranked No. 10 in this week’s Class A coaches’ poll, defeated Whitefish 81-18, but fell to third-ranked Columbia Falls 61-21.

Polson had three wrestlers go 2-0 on the day — Tel Motichka (170) won by pin and a decision, Tel Seemann (182) won by forfeit and pin and Mike Corrigan (195) won by pin twice.
