Basketball roundup: Wolfpack sweeps Libby
LIBBY — The Glacier (6-3) girls held Libby (2-7) to two points in the second half of their nonconference basketball game on Tuesday to turn what was a close game after eight minutes into a 58-15 blowout.
The Wolfpack led just 8-7 after the the first quarter before ratcheting up its defensive intensity. Glacier outscored the Loggers 22-6 in the second quarter and allowed only a single bucket after halftime to end the game on a 50-8 run.
Cassi Hashley had 18 points to lead the Wolfpack and Katie Thomas had 11.
Shyla Stevenson and Devon Gallagher each had six points for Libby.

LIBBY — The Glacier boys started fast and easily topped Libby in a nonconference basketball game on Tuesday.
Kyler Harkins had 19 points on five 3-pointers, including three in the first quarter alone to give the Wolfpack a 21-10 lead after eight minutes. Glacier led the Loggers 39-24 at half and 50-29 after the third quarter before coasting to the win.
Evan Epperly had 12 points for the Wolfpack and Bryan Michaels had 10.
Jared Winslow led Libby with a game-high 20 points.
