Thomas John Barber, 74

Thomas John Barber, 74, of Lakeside, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014.

He was born on April 27, 1939, in Detroit. Tom graduated from Cranbrook School and received a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art degree from the University of Michigan.

He is survived by his brother, Bill Barber, of Kalispell; his children, Tina Mavromatis and Timothy Barber of Chicago; and his grandchildren, Bethany and James.

A memorial will be held to share stories about his life from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, at the Hampton Inn, 1140 Highway 2 West, Kalispell.
