Canyon Church launches Contender's Bible School
Canyon Community Church in Coram, in cooperation with Contender’s Bible School, is offering an in-depth survey of Christian Doctrine and Systematic Theology beginning Saturday, Feb. 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The course will meet most Saturdays through the spring for a total of 20 sessions.
Contender’s Bible School equips men and women for ministry through an aggressive two-year program of biblical and ministry-related subjects.
Because of its compact course nature, disciplined outside study is required. Due to the difficulty of course work, those who graduate will have learned disciplined study habits. Students are taught that Contender’s Bible school is only the beginning of what is to be a lifelong pursuit of biblical and ministry-related education.
The Contender’s curriculum is being modified by Canyon Community Church Pastor Ken Ainsworth.
There is no tuition charged for the class, but one required and several recommended textbooks will need to be purchased.
Those interested in enrolling should contact Canyon Community Church at 387-9452, or email pastorken@canyon-community-church.org.
