Crits & Croissants at the Hockaday

| January 30, 2014 9:43 AM

Artists are invited to have one piece of current work critiqued by professional artist Shelle Lindholm while enjoying coffee and croissants at the Hockaday Museum of Art from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Feb. 8.

The Crits & Croissants is a forum for artists 15 years of age and older.

Lindholm’s work is known for its earthy textures, stylized animal forms and unique sense of color. For participants wanting to amp up their use of color or move away from realism, Shelle says “this may be the Crits session for you. Go primitive — go abstract!”

Crits & Croissants is held every second Saturday of the month, September through May, with a $5 participant fee for members, $7 for nonmembers.

The Hockaday Museum of Art is located at 302 Second Ave. E. For more information, please visit www.HockadayMuseum.org or call 406-755-5268.
