Deadline is Feb. 7 for spring music festival for students

The Kalispell Area Music Teachers Association spring festival, this year to be held March 7-8, is open to students of all area music teachers. 

The deadline to enter students is Feb. 7. 

School-age students, adult students and primer students who are studying piano, strings, ensemble, and composition, are welcome to participate in a non-competitive experience with oral and written comments by highly qualified adjudicators. 

The adjudicators this year are Julie Gosswiler, from Montana State University (piano only) and Jenanne Solberg, from Whitefish Middle School and North Valley Music School (piano and strings). 

The Kalispell Area Music Teachers Association is an organization of music educators whose goal is to promote music education through their various programs and activities.
