Delbert Maltby, 89

Delbert 'Bud' Maltby, 89, passed away peacefully at his home on July 4th, 2014.

Bud was born on August 14, 1924 in Coteau, N.D. He farmed in the Coteau area until he and his wife, Lue, moved their family to Kalispell in 1961 where he worked in construction and as an electrician. 

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lue, and children; Marsha (Bruce) Nikunen, Myrna Maltby, Craig (Kristi) Maltby, and Michelle (Mike) Rauthe, seven grandchildren; Brad (Jill) Nikunen, Kari (Marlin) Kauffman, Nicholas (Jennifer) Maltby, Joshua (Paige) Maltby, Leann Maltby, Tucker Rauthe, and Madison Rauthe, 12 great grandchildren, sisters Ruth Haugen and Ardyce Melby, and many nieces and nephews. 

Per his wishes, a service will not be held. A family memorial will take place at a later date.
