Kalispell woman wins $100,000 prize

Vonda Foster of Kalispell has claimed a $100,000 Scratch top prize in “$100,000 Montana Silver” with a ticket purchased from Town Pump at 2605 U.S. 2 E.

Foster, who works as a cook at the Montana Veterans Home, was so excited to play she had to scratch off her tickets on the way home.

After she verified that she won the top prize, she started alerting all her family members. She said she enjoys playing both Scratch and lottery games but this is her first big lottery win.

Foster plans to talk to a financial adviser before making any large purchases, but she had already planned a couple vacations and the winnings will help pay for them. She reminds other players to “play responsibly.”
