Girl, 10, visits casino to find way to Canada

The girl said she was going to ride her bike there to visit a friend, but thanks to alert adults, she was reunited with her parents.
A woman on Many Lakes Drive believes a delivery driver has been vandalizing her property, including cutting electrical cords with a box cutter. The woman has installed a camera to attempt to catch the supposedly devious delivery man.

A customer attempted to use a counterfeit $20 bill at a drive-through on East Idaho Street on Wednesday. Employees noticed the bill was fake and asked the driver to pull ahead to wait. Instead, the driver took off without his food or money.
Columbia Falls Police received a call from a woman who sold a bike on Craigslist for $700 to a person supposedly in Pennsylvania. She received a check for $2,200, but it appeared the check came from a bank in California and it had an Indiana address on it. The purchaser said someone would pick up the bike once the check was deposited. However, the woman was advised by authorities to disregard the check and sell the bike to someone else who would actually pay for it. This scam is an old one but a good one that still takes in the gullible.
Whitefish Police responded to a call of a woman bitten by a dog on Baker Avenue.
A group of people, along with their dogs, were reported camping on Depot Street for about two days. Police advised them it isn’t a camping spot and to move along.
