Dan Granrud, 64

Dan was born on June 27, 1950, in Sidney to Edgar and Helen Granrud. 

He passed away on July 4, 2014, in Kalispell. 

He was preceded in death by Edgar and Helen. 

He is survived by his daughter Melina, her husband Michael, and his granddaughter Genevieve; his twin brother Dennis, and younger brother Niles. He has four nephews, Eric, Jason, Aron and Cody; and two nieces, Amanda and Michelle. 

As a child he attended Pine Grove School. After graduating from Flathead High school in 1969, he attended Western Tech in Denver where he received a degree in auto mechanics. He worked for many auto shops over the years and owned two.

He co-founded New Life Singers from the Seventh Day Adventist church with his brother Dennis. He attended Walla Walla and St. Paul Bible Colleges where he received a degree in theology. He enjoyed singing in church, playing various musical instruments, flying ultra lights, riding motorcycles, water skiing and riding snowmobiles, just to name a few. 

A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, at the First Church of the Nazarene, at 1295 Whitefish Stage Road.
