Griffin-Torgerson

Coleene and Jim Torgerson of Bigfork announce the engagement of their son, Erik Ansel Torgerson, to Kayla Ann Griffin, daughter of John and Jan Griffin of Washougal, Wash., and Lorilee and Bob Marshall of Vancouver, Wash.

The bride-elect graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 2011 and completed a two-year program for Teach for America in 2013. She is a first grade teacher at Bright Horizons in Bellevue, Wash.

Her fiance graduated from Bigfork High School in 2006, Pacific Lutheran University in 2010, and the University of New England in 2013 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He is a physical therapist at MTI Physical Therapy in Bellevue.

The wedding will take place Aug. 9 at Pomeroy Farm in Yacolt, Wash.
