Restaurant on to sneaky drinker's tricks
Kalispell Police Department wereasked to remove a man from a restaurant on South Main Street. An employee reported that the man — who had previously broken into the building and stolen alcohol — sneaks in the back door, goes into the basement “and gets up in the rafters,” so that employees inadvertently lock him in the building.
A highly intoxicated man and woman were lying down on the fire lane median on First Avenue East North.
Someone on Fourth Avenue West requested the removal of an unwanted visitor who had gone on a “binger” and passed out at their Fourth Avenue West residence.
A man on Seventh Avenue West called to report that “his cat is torn apart in the yard.” The cat, riddled with bite marks, had apparently been attacked and killed.
A person from Corporate Drive reported a neighbor screaming for help about bugs on her window and yelling for police. The neighbor reported that it had been chaos ever since she moved in recently.
Someone called from a Third Avenue East North business reporting that a highly intoxicated male, wearing only his underwear was lying in front of the store. The man allegedly had blood all over his face and hands, had defecated on himself and said “he’d lost it.” A relative was called who said the man had suffered a post-traumatic stress disorder “break” and had not been home long since his military service.
An annoyed person called to report clashes between kids at a skate park and pool-goers.
Someone from Third Avenue East North called to report that a reckless young man with glasses who was driving a white vehicle hit a car before driving off and swerving all over the road. The man then allegedly hit another car at an intersection and ran a vehicle off the road. There were no injuries reported.
A dispute between a renter and a person watching the residence on Second Avenue East became heated when the pair were reported yelling at each other in the street.
A woman called from 11th Street East to report her boyfriend was pushing her around and throwing stuff around the house. Officers separated the parties and found their stories didn’t match.
A concerned father reported that a man was stalking his daughter by showing up at their residence, calling her and impersonating an officer.
A woman was seen yelling at a male who was sitting in a car, passed out and slumped over the wheel. The woman was reportedly intoxicated.
Kids were seen running up and down an alley and were throwing things against a house on First Avenue West North.
A man on Ninth Street East called to report that someone got into his vehicle and tried to steal the CD player and that the windshield of his wife’s vehicle was busted with a rock. The man suspected the damage was caused by a neighbor.
A man was seen walking slowly and looking into vehicles on West Center Street and Seventh Avenue West.
A mother called to report her son wouldn’t leave her Rosewood Drive residence. The son had allegedly told his brother “there’s a lot of people that need to die and I’m going to take them out with me.”
Whitefish Police Department responded to a call from a bar on Central Avenue where a raucous group of 10 people became too rowdy in a card room. One of the disorderly patrons reportedly assaulted a female bartender before the group went to another bar.
Fishing items including a fly rod case were reported stolen from a truck by a man on Columbia Avenue.
A humane woman on Spokane Avenue requested officers to put a “slow down,” sign up on Baker Avenue because she was “tired of the carnage and watching animals be hit.”
A bicyclist was hit by a car, but uninjured, on West 19th Street.
Officers informed a group of thirsty males on Spokane Avenue about the open container law.
An hour-long deck party was broken up after being called in by a neighbor on Willowbrook Close.
A frustrated man on Twelfth Avenue West requested assistance from Columbia Falls Police Department to remove his ex-girlfriend from his house. The sneaky ex-girlfriend had somehow gotten into his house, ended up in his bed and had been there all night.
A woman on Second Avenue West reported that $100 in flowers had been stolen from her yard during the night.
A daring woman was seen jumping out into traffic by someone on Ninth Street West.
