What rights did Obama take away? Start here

I do not know Mr. Wes Higgins and doubt we could have a meaningful discussion, but in his last letter he challenged any one to name even one right Obama had taken away from us.

Well, sir, one right he took was the right to choose if one wanted health insurance or not, and what type you want. All this talk about women’s rights to do what they choose with their bodies, the same should apply to men. Worse yet, my agent and my wife are required to pay for a policy that now costs $200 a month more because Obama says they need pregnancy, pediatric dental and birth control coverage even though they can no longer bear children.

But the biggest right he has taken is the right to peace of mind when you have to fear the IRS, EPA, the invasion of our country from the South, the murder of our agents by criminals that our government has given the weapons to, and all this from a president who swore to uphold and defend the Constitution while at the same time he treats it like toilet paper.

Worst of all, if his policies are not reversed, he has taken the rights of our grandchildren to grow up and live the kind of lives you and I have enjoyed and so many have sacrificed and died for. May God Bless America again. —Glen Hook, Kalispell
