These condiments constitute vandalism
The Whitefish Police Department responded to a report of criminal mischief Thursday at a location on Central Avenue where someone had put ketchup and mustard on the side of the building.
A citizen called to complain about the traffic on Spokane Avenue. The traffic was due to road construction and there wasn’t much law enforcement could do about it.
A woman parked on Spokane Avenue received a nasty note on her windshield about the way she parked.
Columbia Falls police were called when a group of boys was driving by on Third Avenue East, harassing some girls by honking the horn and yelling at them.
A woman called from First Avenue West North saying she “heard an explosion and now her front window on her door is broken out.” Officers responded and the incident didn’t appear to be criminal.
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to Daley Lane on Thursday when a woman came into the emergency room for a medical problem and left against medical advice. When her blood work came back, it showed a potential life-threatening problem. Officers were trying to contact the woman, her landlord, and her mother.
A black Angus cow was headed for the street near Farm to Market Road. Officers returned him to his proper pasture.
A girl was bitten by a neighbor’s dog on Foxtail Drive. The owner of the dog was cited and the animal was placed on a 10-day home quarantine.
A shotgun and a rifle were stolen out of a pickup truck on West Reserve Drive.
A concerned citizen notified police when she saw a man repeatedly hitting a woman in the face as they drove down Fennon Way. The woman appeared to be holding her face and crying.
A citizen came upon a vehicle rollover near Landmark Lane in Bigfork and assisted the victim, who was ejected from the vehicle but was conscious and breathing.
A fight between roommates turned physical after one of the women poured a gallon of paint all over her roommate and her roommate responded by hitting her. Both parties were counseled and separated.
A worried parent called police to report her 14-year-old son missing after he took off following an argument. He showed up a little while later when he woke up from his nap in the bushes near their home.

A woman saw her car advertised on a “New & Used” for-sale website, but she didn’t see the ad there.
Two suspicious girls were walking around Buffalo Stage and Bruyer Way in their pajamas on Thursday evening, and stopped at one person’s house to ask if they had any popcorn.
An extremely intoxicated patron was removed from a store on U.S. 2 West on Friday for threatening to rob the store after the store clerk refused to give him a book of matches.
