Clancy hangs on to claim Women's State Am golf title
BILLINGS — Kyla Clancy of Park City held off a final-day charge by Dorsey Addicks of Gallatin Gateway to win the Montana State Women’s Amateur golf tournament on Saturday at Yellowstone Country Club.
Addicks shot an even-par 72 over the last 18 holes while Clancy, who led all three days, turned in a 3-over 75.
Clancy finished at 223 with Addicks at 224.
Cathie Williamson of Great Falls was third, five shots behind the leader.
Maggie Crippen of Missoula finished fourth and Katy Peterson of Glendive was fifth.
In Senior tournament play, Susan Court of Helena was a nine-shot winner over Sue Matson of Laurel.
Bobbie Lacklen of Libby was fifth.
