Richardson anniversary

Gary and Penny (Miller) Richardson of Kalispell celebrated their 50th anniversary recently.

The couple were married July 25, 1964, in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1980, they moved to Montana where Gary bought into Open Hearth Fireplace Shop and Penny went back to work as a nurse for Kalispell Regional Hospital. Gary ended up as the sole proprietor of Open Hearth. He retired in 2012. Penny's last nursing position was serving those needing hospice care. 

They have two sons, Scott and family in Kalispell, and Todd and family in Wasilla, Alaska. They have four grandchildren and many friends they call family. 

Newly retired, they are spending this summer fishing and camping in Alaska and enjoying their new lifestyle.
