Vitt anniversary

Quentin and Donna Vitt of Kalispell will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 29. They are planning a special dinner and a trip in their motor home.

The couple were married July 29, 1954, in an outdoor evening ceremony at the home of Donna’s parents in Columbia Falls. They met in Columbia Falls in 1950 when Quentin was 18 and Donna was 14. Quentin served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955, serving in Guam until 1954.

The Vitts have enjoyed raising their family and working together all their lives, from ranching to being real estate brokers. They have lived in the same home in Kalispell for the past 50 years.

Their children are Lance Vitt and Renee of Kalispell, Cathi and Dale Iverson of Bigfork, and Voni Vitt-Hansen, deceased. They have 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
